All riflescopes from the B1 range are designed with a reticle in the first image plane. This design ensures that the point of impact is not altered when the magnification is changed. The reticle is combined with the target image before the moving parts of the zoom system come into play. At the same time, an innovative phase grating technology ensures that the reticle bars remain fine even at higher magnifications, ensuring minimum target blockage by the reticle. A fine illuminated dot that can be adapted to extreme light situations promotes accurate shooting in all hunting conditions – from daylight hunting in winter to wild boar hunting at night.
Parallax compensation comes as standard with all Blaser B1 riflescopes. The adjustment ring at the side automatically locks at 100 m, preventing inadvertent adjustments. For greater distances, the ring can be pulled out and set to the desired distance. Very long shots during hunting are usually the exception rather than the rule. But there are still situations where a long-range shot can be necessary. Having the right technical equipment for always being on target and not having to aim higher is key! The reticle adjustment QDC of the Blaser riflescopes was developed specifically for this application. Its highly precise, yet robust mechanical elements ensure constantly reliable return to zero.
The Blaser riflescopes B1 2.8–20x50 iC and B1 4–20x58 iC come with QDC (Quick Distance Control) as a standard feature. Before shooting over long distances, the corresponding elevation correction of the fast reticle adjustment can be done comfortably even when already in shooting position. A unique feature allows you to fix the two adjustments “zeroed” and shooter chosen impact point (4 cm high with a rifle that is zeroed at 100 m). This prevents an unintentional adjustment.
The B2 riflescopes are extremely sturdy and compact featuring a universal 6x zoom. The four models are designed for clearly defined fields of application for various hunting requirements— by day or night. All boast the highest quality lenses and deliver the ultimate in technical precision. Their compactness and resilience also make the B2 line the top choice for use with clip-on thermal devices for night hunting – fast, easy and return to zero.
The B2 line, with its short and compact design, is perfect for use with clip-on thermal devices, and an outstanding choice when it comes to night hunting. The advantage of a short overall length is that the operating elements of the clip-on devices remain within easy reach. The rifle’s center of gravity is closer to the shooter, and the rifle rests securely when taking a shot. During development, it was also important to ensure that the riflescopes are extremely durable, since they are subjected to high levels of strain when used in combination with clip-on devices. The B2 riflescopes surpass the usual tests for shock resistance even in combination with the corresponding attachments. The fact that they are extremely robust makes these riflescopes the optic of choice for every hunting challenge, both day and night!
The B2 riflescopes also provide a significant advantage when hunting at night thanks to the short length of these scopes which makes them easy to use with a clip-on device while keeping the rifle well balanced. The fine daylight illuminated dot ensures precise target acquisition while the high light transmission offer a clear view during the day and at dusk or dawn. The continuous light intensity ensures easy viewing while the rubber-coated vario ring facilitates easy handling. The 90 mm eye relief provides safety and comfort. The B2 riflescopes are robust and compact. The hydrophobic lens coating protects against water and dirt, while the nitrogen filling and watertightness up to 4 m offer reliability. These properties ensure a clear view and functional capability even in extreme weather situations.
The RD20 is the ideal optic for quick shots on driven hunts and as an interchangeable accessory for all Blaser rifles, making it the ideal addition to a riflescope.
Better sight picture: 36mm diameter with only 3.5 mm coverage by the housing wall.
For every weather: Scratch-resistant protective lenses that sit almost flush with the housing – easy to clean from water drops, snow and debris.
Always ready: With the IIC function, the RD20 features an energy saving concept with intelligent switch-off functions and thus enables a service life of up to 50,000 hours.
