The R8 Ultimate Carbon Leather with a two-piece carbon stock laid by hand and fine inlays made of impregnated leather. Carbon is a high-tech composite material that is both light and very strong. It is used wherever low weight combined with high strength is required, such as in aviation or in motor racing. The innovative carbon fibres are now also being used successfully in hunting rifles. During production, the individual carbon fibre layers are placed by hand in a mould until the required number of layers is reached. The stock is hardened under heat and pressure. This ensures the absolute premium quality of theR8 Ultimate's carbon stock, which is made in Germany while the leather inserts give the R8 Carbon that extra touch of elegance and provide a comfortable grip.
