BLASER RIFLESCOPES

Uncompromisingly precise. Masterfully beautiful.

The highest possible shooting precision in any situation requires solutions that exclude precision-reducing factors by design. That applies to the rifle and riflescope mounting as well as to the riflescope itself. The design of the Blaser B1 riflescopes is the consistent evolution of this philosophy. They impress primarily with their brilliant reticle in the first image plane. A reticle on this plane – the lens plane – avoids magnification-related displacement of the point of impact purely by design. In addition to this, the Blaser saddle mount combines the rifle and riflescope to form a unit with unbeatable repeating accuracy – to meet our “zero tolerance” claim.

A top-of-the-line riflescope range

Tailored for a specific hunting application, each of the three B1 riflescopes has a completely independent optical design with properties that are optimized for their respective use. This is the only way to create top-of-the-line optics that fully meet our requirements for excellent performance.

The reticle revolution – the pinnacle of precision

Maximum possible precision

All riflescopes from the B1 range are designed with a reticle in the first image plane. This design ensures that the point of impact is not altered when the magnification is changed. The reticle is combined with the target image before the moving parts of the zoom system come into play. At the same time, an innovative phase grating technology ensures that the reticle bars remain fine even at higher magnifications, ensuring minimum target blockage by the reticle.

Focused on what matters

A fine daylight dot that can be adapted to extreme light situations promotes accurate shooting in all hunting conditions – from daylight hunting in winter to wild boar hunting at night.

Intuitively estimating range

A successful process for when things move quickly: estimating range thanks to the reticle in the first image plane. Even though hunters often use rangefinders today, there are still situations when there is virtually no time for measuring. Because a reticle in the first image plane means that the distance of the reticle bars remains constant relative to the target size at any magnification, it is a useful tool for estimating the range and it is quickly at hand.

QDC – Quick Distance Control

Quick Distance Control – for long-range shots

Very long shots during hunting are usually the exception rather than the rule. But there are still situations where a long-range shot can be necessary. Having the right technical equipment for always being on target and not having to aim higher is key! The reticle adjustment of the Blaser riflescopes was developed specifically for this application. Its highly precise, yet robust mechanical elements ensure constantly reliable repeating accuracy.

The Blaser riflescope models Blaser B1 2.8-20x50 iC and 4-20x58 iC are equipped with the Quick Distance Control (QDC) with a flat design. Before the long-range shot, you can easily and quickly make the corresponding height correction on the reticle adjustment with the rifle mounted.

A unique feature is the option of locking the two settings for point-blank shots and 4-cm high shots. This makes inadvertent changes to the adjustment impossible, while still allowing the desired point of impact to be set in just a single step. If a 4-cm high shot over 100 meters is not sufficient, the reticle height adjustment is turned by the required number of clicks. In this case, the setting is not locked by lowering the adjustment tower, leaving its scale clearly visible. This virtually excludes the risk of forgetting to turn the adjustment back to the normal position.

Owners can convert or retrofit these and other Blaser riflescopes with the QDC+ at any time. The QDC+ makes it possible to directly set the shot range with an engraved scale.

Even more precise – with the QDC+ reliability for long-range shots

There are situations on a hunt where a long-range shot is necessary, and it is good if there is no need to aim higher. We have developed the Quick Distance Control (QDC) for exactly these situations. Its highly precise, yet extremely robust mechanical elements guarantee constantly reliable repeating accuracy.

The Blaser QDC+ is optionally available for the riflescopes B1 2.8–20x50 iC and B1 4–20x58 iC  and is very easy to retrofit yourself. The Blaser ballistics calculator can be used to easily determine the QDC+ adjustment ring that best matches your rifle and ammunition.

Parallax – no shifting, no adjusting

All riflescopes from the B1 series are equipped with parallax compensation as standard. The adjustment ring on the side is locked for the distance of approx. 100 m and therefore secured against inadvertent adjustment. Before a long-range shot, the ring is pulled out and then set to the desired distance.

Optimum attachment – simple, fast, repeatable

Even under tough hunting conditions, the riflescope and the clip-on device can be connected quickly and easily in just a few steps thanks to attachment mounts – with absolute repeat accuracy. Both scopes form a precise unit. The special feature: The CM clip-on mount allows the flip cover to remain on the riflescope – it does not need to be removed for mounting, which saves valuable time.

Optics performance – only the best

Last but not least: first-rate image quality, special high-refraction fluorite lenses for maximum image quality, best possible suppression of color fringes for the highest possible contrast especially in low light, very good scattered light suppression, comfortable viewing, large field of view with best edge sharpness, over 90 % transmission.

Rifle and scope – a perfect match
